As you may or may not know, on Monday, CM Punk expressed his views via Twitter about same-sex marriage and the controversial Amendment 1.

This caused quite the stir in the Twitter-verse, as many people either bashed Punk or praised him for his view.

A few hour after Punk's Twitter tirade, former WWE-turned-TNA star D'Angelo Dinero decided to weigh in on Punk's beliefs using the same medium.

So humored by the hypocrisy of those who wanna play GOD, or change what GOD intended. You wanna evolve? Seek GOD! Hows that for change?~PHS

Some may think that Dinero is just looking to get his name out there again. However, many fans may not realize that Punk and Dinero have some real beef. In 2007, both Punk and Dinero (then known as Elijiah Burke) were wrestling for WWE's ECW brand.

During that time, the two were pitted against each other in several matches. More recently, Punk was doing a town hall-style interview for a Philadelphia radio station and was asked who his worst opponent was. To which the straight-edge star responded with Elijiah Burke. To my knowledge, Burke has never responded to the insult.

You can view the interview here.

Ultimately, everyone has an opinion for or against same sex marriage. I, for one, am hoping that this issue is resolved in my lifetime.

Keep in mind, for or against, once you start policing people's feelings, you are just a few steps away from giving up your rights as a human.
