Top high school basketball recruit Tony Parker has chosen UCLA to be his home next season, which is a huge signing for the Bruins, according to Rivals.com's Anthony Dasher.

Parker is ranked 26th in the ESPNU Top 100 and is ranked No. 1 in the state of Georgia.

The 6'9", 280-pound power forward dominates in the paint at both ends of the floor.

What Parker Brings to the Team

Parker is an effective low-post scorer whose soft hands allow him to catch the ball cleanly on entry passes in the paint and begin his offensive move.

If he can lose a bit of weight and put on some more muscle, Parker will be a tough player to defend in the paint. He also plays with a high motor and gives a ton of effort defensively, which is something every coach wants from a freshman.

Freshman Impact

Parker is the type of player who can step into the college game and dominate right away. He is very coachable and has shown a willingness to work hard at improving his game in high school.

His ability to rebound and block shots will earn him a lot of playing time as a freshman. His offensive game is solid, but it still has a lot of room for improvement.
