In Other News...So, You're America's New President...

Thank goodness…Obama is the new president of the United States of America. 

Watching him today on TV, I was very happy when they switched the view over George W. Bush, after Obama accepted the presidency, because I was able to look George Bush in the face, and say harshly:

“George, you’re fired!”

What does this all have to do with baseball?

Well, first off, every World Series the Red Sox have won, was a year with a republican president, while all but two of the Yankee’s World Series wins were with a democrat.

Early baseball prediction:

The Red Sox will not win the World Series…I guarantee it.

Also, the Bush tax cuts on the wealthy will be lifted.  Sorry A-rod, Jeter, and many other players, but your taxes just went up.  While as for me, my taxes will go down!

All I can say to all of the overrated, overpaid players is: Ha ha!

Here’s my message to President Barack Obama:

Ask the Yankees for some money!

Hey, they have 80 million dollars sitting in their coffers.  Why not ask them for some? 

Bailout the car industries!  Provide new jobs!  Make Manny Ramirez jobless!

Also, Obama, there is a national disgrace in baseball who goes by the name of Manny Ramirez.  You should raise his income tax to 30 percent and say they stay there until he retires. 

I hope you take this advice. 

However, Obama, even if you don’t do these things, then you are still the hope of America.  Obama, my prayers go out to you.

May you govern with fairness (except to Manny Ramirez,) and may you and your cabinet, do the best job they can of governing this wonderful country of ours. 

Barack Obama, I wish you the best of luck today, tomorrow, and in the years to come. 

P.S: Yankees or Red Sox, Obama?  And don’t say “White Sox,” which?
