Everybody knows about WWE Smackdown having Thanksgiving brawls. Nobody will ever forget the rare Christmas edition of Monday Night Raw. The company always likes to incorporate holidays into their television shows.
With Easter falling in a Sunday, it is rare to see interactions on WWE TV. While the choices were far and few between, there were a couple of great Easter related topics in WWE's past.
Here are the top five!
Watch the first 90 seconds of the video only!
Seeing the Easter Bunny walk backstage during Vengeance 2003 was strange enough. However, having JBL there was great.
The look on his face was priceless. Everybody knew their bar room brawl was going to be something special, and it was.
For an extra laugh, Ron Simmons was standing right there...
To be fair, this was a part of the George Lopez show.
Dolph Ziggler was a part of the night's fun. It was a very funny moment for all parties involved.
First, we saw a clip of Ziggler beating up Santa on the television screen. When it all seemed fine, the camera shows him now beating up the Easter Bunny.
George and a stunned kid looked on in shock.
I must say that the Easter Bunny did take one incredible "Zig Zag" though...
JBL was there.
Funaki was there.
Matt Hardy was there.
Brother Love was there.
Even the Easter Bunny was there!
At Vengeance 2003, we saw an all out brawl. Tons of men fought until they couldn't stand it anymore. It was an interesting match, but everybody worked hard.
In this entire fiasco was a white bunny trying to avoid damage in the corner. It was a hilarious sight. That was until JBL took him out...
While it is unconfirmed, it is to believed that Damien Sandow played the bunny here. Yes, the man who appeared on Smackdown last week!
Who loves Shane McMahon's entrance?
Now, imagine Triple H and Batista dancing in the same way!
Yes, it is a must see event. While WWE releases a lot of great content for fans, some of the content is hidden. It is called "easter eggs." The above video is a great example.
Think of it like game codes. It is a journey to find out some little segments on the DVD. While it can be fun, a lot of folks do not enjoy "looking" for extras to watch.
In WWE's case, there have plenty of times where they intentionally make you search for additional clips. A quick google search will likely help you out with your WWE collection.
Finally, there is only one gem left that Easter has forever given the WWE Universe...
This is probably the greatest theme music ever made by WWE.
His entrance at Vengeance 2003 was great. The fan's reactions were excellent. However, the musical introduction was what made it epic!
You remember Bertha Faye's theme music?
You remember Steven Regal's theme music?
There have been many hilarious songs in this industry. None of them come close to the Easter Bunny back in 2003. It was classic and will be remembered forever.
I know I can't be the only one wishing to hear it one more time in WWE...
