WrestleMania 28 Results: WWE's Burial of Daniel Bryan Has Created a Monster

Jun 4, 2018

While many people in the WWE universe do not like or respect Daniel Bryan, true fans of the sport see just how great he truly is.

That’s why, when Sheamus kicked him in the head and took his World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 28 in just 18 seconds, many die-hards lost their patience with the WWE.

Are we angry?

YES! YES! YES!

In that moment of anger, as Sheamus raised the belt and jobbed out one of the best stars in the WWE, fans decided that they would not allow this injustice to continue. If you don’t believe that people were pissed, just ask WWE legend Bret Hart what he thought:

"

Very glad the fans were vocal in their displeasure of one of the best wrestlers on the roster being jobbed out in 18 seconds.

Through the first hour of the WWE’s biggest PPV, fans chanted “Daniel Bryan” and “YES! YES! YES!” so loud that it actually distracted from the action.

That wave of retaliation has caused such a stir in the wrestling community that other crowds in other buildings are picking up on it. Just like Stone Cold Steve Austin’s “What?” chants, “YES! YES! YES!” is about to take over the WWE universe.

On Monday’s Raw, the chants for DBry grew in volume and number, and the hand motions just made it that much more fun for even the casual fans to do. It was so loud during Alberto del Rio’s speech that you could barely hear what he was saying.

If that wasn’t enough to drive WWE up a wall, it was during the John Cena final promo of the night when the crowd absolutely brought Daniel Bryan to a whole new level. As the crowds were chanting “YES! YES! YES!” Cena chanted with them and name-dropped Bryan.

That little touch has made him instantly one of the most popular stars right now.

Still don’t believe me? You’ll never guess where the “Yes!” chants broke out next:

"

@JustinLaBar I live here in miami and during the heat game tonight the crowd was chanting yes! yes! yes!

With the mainstream catching onto this sensation, this is all one new t-shirt away from taking over the WWE universe.

Just like Zack Ryder before him, the fans have the ability to make a normal star in the WWE’s eye a real star. It’s our duty to make Daniel Bryan a star because of all he has given in the ring.
