Mikhail Prokhorov Rap Video: Watch Nets Owner Bust a Flow

The rap game has been turned upside down now that Mikhail Prokhorov has picked up a microphone.

The New Jersey Nets owner/Russian billionaire appeared on a comedy show in Russia a few weeks ago called Projector Paris Hilton and lent his rapping ability to the program.

So when Jay-Z is writing the latest song for a new album, he needs to keep his boss in mind. Prokhorov has more skills than what meets the eye. Here is just a sample of the lyrics Prokhorov brought to the table:

Mr. Jay-Z I am not alone
Mikhail Prokhorov on the microphone
His name is Mikhail, he's Russian businessman
I am real Russian Eminem

It’s pretty cool to see such a rich and powerful man loosen up his tie and have some fun. While he may not have a flow like Eminem, he does have solid timing and delivery.

What makes this so cool is that Prokhorov is running for president in Russia as an independent candidate in the 2012 election. Could you imagine Newt Grinch or Mitt Romney picking up the microphone and trying to rap during an election campaign?

In addition to his political ambitions, Prokhorov possesses quite the resume in the business world.

He is the 32nd-richest man in the world according to the 2011 Forbes listing with a fortune in the neighborhood of $18 billion. He formerly owned the world’s largest producer of nickel and palladium and is a martial arts expert.

Being able to joke around on national TV is just another example of how Prokhorov isn’t your typical billionaire…or NBA owner.

Did I mention he is only 46?
