Jeremy Lin: Defense of Kris Humphries Latest Reason to Love Lin
Is anyone sure that Jeremy Lin is a real person? It is hard to believe at times. The guy has rose to a "linsane" level of fame in a shockingly brief period of time, and through it all, he has remained refreshingly humble.
It is hard to find sports stars like that. He is respectful and quick to give credit to others, all while avoiding speaking in cliches and coming off as a real person.
But that is exactly what makes him seem unreal! Stars aren't supposed to be normal people.

All of this is helping fuel the public's intense desire for all things Lin.
This latest story is only going to further that desire. Lin went out of his way to be show a moment of kindness to a person no one seems to want to be nice to: the former Mr. Kardashian, Kris Humphries.
Humphries was on ESPN Radio's The Scott Van Pelt Show and is quoted by Mike Mazzeo on ESPN.com, who relayed the following story:
"I saw him [Lin] in the tunnel outside the locker room after the game.
He's a really nice guy. He just said, "Hey, I don't know why they boo you, but I think it's crap, and you're playing really well."
That was nice of him to say. He's a really nice guy. ... It's nice to see great things happen for nice people.
"
And there you have it. Jeremy Lin is nearing a Mother Teresa-level of kindness compared to the empathetically bankrupt society he is flourishing in.
Stories like this are only going to drive the raging levels of "linsanity" further off the charts.
