Arsenal are after an African Cup of Nations-winning striker. Or at least, that's what the player's agent is saying.

Emmanuel Mayuka, 21, is being linked with Arsenal among other English teams. The Zambian currently plays for Young Boys in Switzerland. The article, from TalkSport, did not mention a potential transfer fee.

"There has been interest shown from Arsenal, Newcastle and Fulham," said James Barrett, who is reportedly Mayuka's agent. "Emmanuel wants to play in the Premier League, which he feels is the best in the world, but there is more concrete interest from other European clubs."

In the following slides, we'll give you everything you need to know about Mayuka. Let's get started.

Mayuka is a striker, so fans will want to know his offensive statistics.

According to the TalkSport article, Mayuka has scored six times for Young Boys. The official Young Boys website (in German) says otherwise.

Even a limited knowledge of German is adequate here. "SP" stands for Spielen, which translates to "games" in English. "TO" stands for Tore (goals) and "AS" for Assists (duh).

According to the website, Mayuka has scored seven league goals, with three in the Swiss Cup and one in Europe for a total of 12 in 21 matches.

He tallied twice in the group stage, scoring his side's opening goal of the tournament in a 2-1 upset win over Senegal. Later he bagged Zambia's first in their come-from-behind draw with Libya.

In the semifinals, Mayuka netted the winner in the second half against Ghana in the semifinals.

Mayuka also converted his spotkick in the final's penalty shootout.
