photo is reporting that Kentucky wide receivers coach Tee Martin will be leaving the Wildcats to join Lane Kiffin's staff at USC for the same position.

John Clay of the Lexington Herald-Leader also reports that Joker Phillips had not yet spoken to Martin since the news broke of him possibly leaving the Wildcats.

While no one seems to be able to confirm the news from an official source, USC quarterback Matt Barkley took to his Twitter account this evening to "welcome @Tee Martin17 to the Trojan family!"

Kentucky 2012 football signees Jalen Whitlow and Josh Harris have already expressed their disapproval of the situation on Twitter.

Tee Martin was a finalist for the WR coach position at Alabama last year, but Joker Phillips was ultimately able to keep him at Kentucky.  This was seen as a huge positive not only because of Martin's excellent abilities as a coach and recruiter, but because Phillips was able to retain one of his top assistants from getting poached by a perennial SEC/National title contender.

If Martin was willing to turn down Alabama last year, but is now making a move to USC for the same position that he held at Kentucky, one has to wonder if he agrees with many UK fans that this will be Joker Phillip's last season as the Wildcats' head coach.
