As many know, Gail Kim came back to the WWE after being in TNA for a few years. She actually was in the WWE and won the Women's Championship early in her WWE career. She didn't hold it too long, but did hold it none the less.
She is now back, and looking pretty good as a wrestler. It seems that TNA has the best female wrestlers, which is something the WWE hates. They want to be better than them, and acquiring their No. 1 Knockout is a start.
Gail Kim is said to be getting a big push by the WWE. She will get into a feud with Diva's Champion Maryse. Now Maryse is injured, so don't expect it to be very fast. I could see it starting after the Royal Rumble.
See the WWE changed their top face diva on SmackDown in Michelle McCool to a heel. So there seemed to be no one as a face anyway to compete with Maryse for the Diva's Title.
Both Maria and McCool are in a feud and the tag team of the Bella Twins kind of disqualifies them. Also, they are relatively new to the wrestling fans eyes. So Kim would be the only face possible to be in a feud with Maryse.
It was speculated Kim was going to be going to either RAW or SmackDown. I personally spoke out on why she should be on SmackDown. And this feud with Maryse confirms my first speculation on her going to SmackDown.
They could use her as a surprise, and she could be a big cash cow for them if marketed right. If Kim were to win the Diva's Title she would make history as a female wrestler.
She would be the first female ever to win The Women's Title, Diva's Title, and TNA Knockout's Title. No one in wrestling history could say they did that. She would be a No. 1 diva in the WWE for years.
I don't think wrestling wise there is many better than Kim in the female wrestling community, just my opinion of course. But for now at least we know she is in the WWE, and is going to SmackDown. Also she will soon be going after history.
I do not think she will win it right off considering Maryse is getting a push. Possibly if the WWE wants to get Maryse out for awhile because of her injury then I could see her winning it.
A big feud for the title sounds better to me. Kim would have to earn it sort off. I am eager to see what the SmackDown writers do with the feud.

I think that Kim has the credibility with fans to be taken seriously as a contender for a title shot, so yes, I think that she should get a shot when she comes back. You are right, SD! is now lacking face Divas who can compete in singles matches with the McCool turn, Gail Kim should return and immediately inject herself into the Diva's title hunt

Yes!!! I loved her on TNA and i loved her back when she was in WWE...a true female wrestler in every sense...she is fast and hits hard and has a big arsenal of moves...now the WWE should get AWESOME KONG lol to fight beth pheonix ...

I love the fact that Gail Kim has returned to the WWE. I loved her since I first saw her. Not to be mean but there were too many blonde bombshells in the WWE, and still are. I'll always be a big fan of diversity and Gail I think(aside from Trish Stratus, the only blonde I'll ever love in a wrestling ring) is the total package. She's beautiful and she can kick ass. I think she'll dominate the Smackdown Divas in my opinion.

Well she is not blonde so... maybe your thinking Kelly Kelly. Gail Kim will be on SD! and will do well, also make history too. But look for it to happen probably like I said after the Rumble

Personally I would rather see her go to Raw and feud with Beth Phoenix because they both have pretty good wrestling abilities. I understand you have to put her on Smackdown because they lack the faces and really lack the wrestling talent. You have Natalya, Victoria (who may be retiring) that are really good and I would say Maryse, Michelle McCool and Maria are average.
On Raw the divas have the edge in wrestling ability mainly because of Beth Phoenix and Mickie James. Melina is getting better too.

Well Demetrus you got to think the WWE realizes that the best divas are clearly on RAW. Which is why Kim is going to SmackDown. Not just for the lake of faces, it is that they want the SmackDown divas to look better. Thanks for commenting

good thing for Kim and the WWE that she went to TNA and had that success. Her first stint in the WWE was horrible. She came in and won the title off the bat and the crowd turned on her quickly. Now that many fans fell in love with her in TNA I don't see her getting that same reaction. WWE still shouldn't give her the title off the bat. How about building a feud people.

No Joe I meant that Trish is the only blonde I'll ever love and that Gail is going to clean house on Smackdown. You're absolutely right by the way, I think Gail going to Smackdown will definitely step up the competition in the other ladies and definitely make them look better in the ring.
Hey, that leg drop Kelly pulled off on Jillian to end the match on Smackdown last Friday? That was impressive. What does she call that move I wonder?
