Welcome to the latest edition of "IWC Votes."
In the past, I have asked you (the reader) to vote on various topics, including favorite wrestler, Royal Rumble moments, favorite entrance theme and favorite wrestling video game (voting still active).
This edition will take a look at what you consider to be your favorite Championship of all time.
Every wrestling promotion in the world has a championship. It's what their performers strive to win. To hold a championship means you're either the best or one of the best in that company.
Some of these championships have gimmicks or restrictions attached to them (Tag Team, Hardcore and X-Division).
Some of them have been around for more than 50 years, and some have been retired and resurrected numerous times.
Others have been used by many promotions, while some have stayed exclusive.
But there's one thing that's for sure. Everybody has one championship that they can call their favorite.
Even wrestlers have one particular championship that they always wanted to hold, and nine times out of 10, it's not the heavyweight championship.
Watch Edge or Chris Jericho's documentaries. Edge talks about how all he wanted to do was win the WWF Tag-Team Championship with his real-life best friend Christian.
Chris Jericho talks about how he just wanted to win the Intercontinental Championship because his Idol Rick "The Dragon" Steamboat held it.
So what is your favorite championship, and why?
Is there a particular person that held it, so you always loved it?
Was it that the championship seemed so prestigious that it was the coolest thing in wrestling?
Was it the matches and gimmicks associated with the championship?
In a few days I'll post the results.
Tomorrow I will post the results for "Favorite Wrestling Video Game," so if you haven't voted for that yet, make sure to get your vote in before tomorrow.
Now just let me be clear, your favorite championship doesn't have to be from WWE or TNA—it can be from ROH, Japan, ECW, WCW or any promotion.
