When Paris Saint-Germain appointed Carlo Ancelotti as their new manager, rumours of Alexandre Pato's transfer from A.C. Milan to PSG started making the media rounds.

I cannot believe that people are actually convinced by it.

If you're one of those believers, then here are six reasons why A.C. Milan will not sell Pato.

A.C. Milan Will Not Sell Alexandre Pato in the Middle of the Season

If Alexandre Pato was ruled out of the season with injury, then selling him would make sense.

With A.C. Milan still contending for the UEFA Champions League, Serie A and Coppa Italia, it's illogical to sell Pato who often conjures up world-class moments.

Where would they find a suitable replacement?

What About Replacing Alexandre Pato with Carlos Tévez?

Is this a joke? How can anyone with an ounce of football knowledge believe that A.C. Milan would be willing to replace Alexandre Pato with Carlos Tévez?

Tévez desperately wants to return to Buenos Aires, and Janusz Michallik brought up a great point saying, "Approximate distance, as the crow flies, between Milan and Buenos Aires 6,934 miles. Manchester-Buenos Aires 6,935 miles. Tévez closer to home."

There is so much upside with Pato, whereas Tévez is a selfish, trouble-making footballer who has never stayed for more than four seasons at a European club.

Alexandre Pato's Issues with Massimiliano Allegri

Many have jumped on the "Alexandre Pato will leave the A.C. Milan" bandwagon simply because of what he said about Massimiliano Allegri, "Occasionally, he gives me explanations, but a coach should tell his players how to correct any defects they might have. If I need to improve, he's the one who should tell me how."

Newsflash: A manager and a player will occasionally have breakdowns in communication.

It doesn't mean Pato will leave A.C. Milan.

The Three Brazilian Musketeers: Alexandre Pato, Robinho, Thiago Silva

It seems such a misguided idea to break the friendship of Alexandre Pato, Robinho and Thiago Silva.

Silva is playing the best football of his career, Robinho has become an invaluable role player off the bench, and Pato has so much to offer.

As a side note, how talented is Kevin-Prince Boateng?

He's playing such great football, he can moonwalk and he can sing. No wonder he has so much swagger.

Barbara Berlusconi

Barbara Berlusconi, daughter of Silvio Berlusconi, is a member of the A.C. Milan board, and guess who her boyfriend is?

Alexandre Pato.

It is that conflict of interest which will ensure that Barbara naturally opposes A.C. Milan transferring her boyfriend away from her.

A.C. Milan Have No Plans in Selling Alexandre Pato Right Now

Adriano Galliani came out and cleared things up by saying, "He's definitely a Milan player, and that's the truth. There are no negotiations between Milan and PSG for Pato."

If Cristiano Ronaldo can't score a goal like that against Barcelona yet Alexandre Pato can, then that should be enough of a reason to keep the Brazilian.
