South Africa ended the evening as unexpected victors over South Korea, winning 1-0 thanks to a goal from Thapelo Maseko. With an ironclad defense and some threatening attacks in quick transition, the three points were as deserved as they were surprising. Thanks to the result, South Africa landed second in Group A, while South Korea sit third in hopes of still making it through to the knockouts.

After Vinicius Jr. pounced on an early Scottish turnover in the back to open the scoring, Brazil simply never looked under threat. The Real Madrid superstar would double his account before halftime as Brazil waltzed to the top spot in Group C. Scotland, for their part, couldn't apply any real pressure going the other way. Their World Cup future now hangs in the balance.

Morocco's 4-2 win over Haiti was choppy, to say the least. Despite being heavy favorites, Morocco trailed two separate times in the first half, scoring an own goal and ending up on the wrong end of a Wilson Isidor banger. Still, they wrestled back into the game and claimed second in Group C along the way.
