I don't know about that trade lol Portland has been better on paper for a long time but #Sounders were the better team. Unfortunately Timbers have found their way at the end of the season and now they jumped to 8th place, while Seattle drops to 10th. So you're partially right.

@ELROLONW Portland seems like a team that is interested in making the playoffs and has “DP” level players that don’t wilt under pressure…I would trade Joveljic, Morris, and Rusnak for Velde.

After getting embarrassed by Vancouver Whitecaps 5-1 at BC Place, it is hard to see this #Sounders team even winning a play-in. Schmetzer was unable to set this team up for success, players were couldn't match Vancouver's intensity & team had no response after the 1st min goal.

Vancouver Whitecaps up 3-0 over the #Sounders at halftime is worse than I expected. I knew Seattle had an extremely low chance to get a result but I never thought they would get played out of BC Place jn the first 45 minutes. Sounders look checked out in this game.
