Tim Tebow: Did Tim Terrific Steal Tebowing from LeBron?
There is a photo that suggests that not only is the Tebowing craze that has swept the nation unoriginal, but that it was engineered by LeBron James.
CNBC's Darren Rovell Tweeted out a picture via @AdamKuperstein that suggests that it was The King who invented Tebowing after taking down the Celtics last season.
Prayer has been around for a while and while it's impossible to say that Tebow invented the pose he turned into a revolution, it's safe to say that his signature pose will continue to be his own.
He may not have been the first athlete to drop down in prayer spontaneously, but he's certainly perfected it.
Tebow mania isn't going anywhere. It's calmed down a tad bit because of the loss he sustained against Tom Brady and the Patriots, but rest assured, it's going to be bigger than ever as the Broncos head into the postseason.
His critics only add fuel to the fire and those suggesting that Tebowing should be switched to LeBroning may want to run for cover, as Tebow enthusiasts are undoubtedly going to take exception to changing the name of the movement.
Tebow is not an impostor. Are we to believe that Tebow had not dropped down into his signature pose prior to this snapshot of LeBron?
Tebow will continue to prove that he is the rightful owner of the pose, dropping down and giving it up to God when he comes up big for his team in a clutch situation.
Given LeBron's track record of disappearing in the fourth quarter, it's safe to say he won't have nearly as many opportunities to make Tebowing LeBroning.
