Kris Humphries Video: Watch Kim Kardashian's Former Husband Get Booed at MSG
New Jersey Nets power forward Kris Humphries had a more interesting lockout than most NBA players. He got married to socialite Kim Kardashian, only to get divorced 72 days later. He became an instant celebrity during the laughable ordeal and it earned him boos from a Madison Square Garden crowd.

While New York crowds are always tough on opposing players, it was a bit surprising to hear Humphries getting such a hostile response. After all, he seemed genuinely devastated that Kardashian would call off the marriage so quickly even when nobody else was.
It's not like it was only one or two fans in the upper deck, either. Humphries, who just signed a one-year contract with the Nets, starts to hear it as soon as he heads toward the scorer's table. Once everybody else realizes what's going on, they join the booing party.
When the telecast cuts to a close-up, he appears to be grinning and taking it all in stride, which is good. It will probably start to wear on him over the course of a season, though. He can expect similar responses in many arenas.
The crowd reaction came on the same day in which Forbes posted the results of research concerning the NBA's most disliked players. Humphries came in No. 1. Yes, he beat out LeBron James as the player fans simply can't stand. That's more amazing than the boos.
Overshadowed by all the hoopla is Humphries' on-court improvement last season. He averaged a double-double while shooting 52 percent from the field. Yet, he didn't receive much interest on the open market. That's likely because of all the off-court baggage.
The video ends by rubbing a little more salt in his wound as a layup attempt by Humphries is blocked, much to the delight of Madison Square Garden's faithful onlookers.
