10 NBA Teams That'll Be Highlight Factories All Season Long

Matt ShetlerDec 21, 2011

Long before the Showtime era, NBA players have been known to dominate the highlights.

Fans love the high-flyers and fast paced action. This year's NBA season will not disappoint is that aspect as the NBA's young talent will be on display almost every night in the league's shortened schedule.

Here is a look at 10 teams that will dominate the highlights all season long.

New York Knicks

1 of 10

Most highlights are about offense and the Knicks could have the best one in the league.

With Carmelo Anthony and Amar'e Stoudemire playing in Mike D'Antoni's system for an entire season we could be in store for some special moments.

Chicago Bulls

2 of 10

Chicago finished with the best record in the Eastern Conference a season ago and have the NBA's reigning MVP in Derrick Rose.

Rose is a highlight reel all by himself.

Miami Heat

3 of 10

Anytime LeBron James and Dwyane Wade step onto the floor the cameras are rolling and the duo is capable of doing something very special.

On the court the duo is out of this world and may the NBA's best highlight factory.

Washington Wizards

4 of 10

Washington may be a surprise on this list, but John Wall is certain to be better in year two and his speed alone will create his share of highlights, but he's isn't the best Wizard when it comes to being a highlight factory.

That honor goes to JaVale McGee who can rise with the best of them and will do some special things above the rim.

Oklahoma City Thunder

5 of 10

Maybe the most exciting team in the league, the Thunder have so much young talent that they could dominate the highlight shows all season.

Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook alone are worth watching a second time.

Minnesota Timberwolves

6 of 10

Speaking of young talent, the Timberwolves are starting to assemble a great young cast.

Kevin Love is exciting to begin with but add youngsters Ricky Rubio and Derrick Williams to the mix and the Wolves will be a highlight package worth watching.

They may not win many games, but they should be an exciting team.

Los Angeles Clippers

7 of 10

The Clippers had their own human highlight reel in Blake Griffin but now that they added Chris Paul to the mix, things are going to get very exciting.

Just the amount of lobs that Paul will throw to Griffin and DeAndre Jordan will make a lengthy highlight reel of their own.

Golden State Warriors

8 of 10

The Warriors backcourt alone is exciting enough with Monta Ellis and Stephen Curry. While the franchise still needs to make some moves for new head coach Mark Jackson, expect the two young guards to do some special things this year,

Los Angeles Lakers

9 of 10

They may not have had the offseason that Lakers fans may have wished for, but they still have Kobe Bryant and a pair of talented big men.

Bryant alone keeps the Lakers as one of the more exciting teams in the league.

Dallas Mavericks

10 of 10

The defending NBA champions will dominate the highlights all season. Dirk Nowitzki and the chances of a repeat guarantee that.
