Dorial Green-Beckham: The Best Reason for Him to Go to Each of His Top Suitors
It's all about recruiting now that the college football season is coming to a close.
One of the top prospects that is still out there is wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham. He has ridiculous size at 6'6", 220 pounds. He's towers over defenders and can make any play on the field. He's the ultimate deep threat and will make some team very lucky when he makes his commitment.
He's considering Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Missouri, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas and USC, among others.
Here are the best reasons he should go to each of the top schools.
Alabama
1 of 5This is easy, he'll be playing in the top conference in college football against some of the best competition week in and week out. He'll also have a great chance to compete in BCS bowl games and conference championships.
With the lack of quality wide receivers on the Crimson Tide team at the moment, he'd also have the chance to become the No. 1 receiver instantly. Putting Green-Beckham on this team just adds a receiving weapon to a team that already runs the ball well.
It'd be hard to stop both.
Texas
2 of 5Some of the top wide receivers to go onto the NFL have come out of the Big 12 recently. Green-Beckham would be joining a very talented and young team in the Longhorns.
Sure, Texas has had a couple of down seasons but with majority of this team returning next season, they are primed for a return to the top of college football. He'd also be playing for a great head coach in Mack Brown that doesn't have many losing seasons in his career.
The Longhorns are the only school the wide receiver has visited so far. That's great news if you're a Texas fan.
Oklahoma
3 of 5Green-Beckham plans on visiting the Sooners real soon, as they also appear to be high on the wide receiver's list.
Going to Oklahoma, you know you're going to be on a loaded team and have a chance for a national championship every season. You also know that you will always have a top quarterback throwing you the ball, as Oklahoma has great success with their signal-callers.
This is another Big 12 school that he would thrive at.
Notre Dame
4 of 5Does there really need to be an explanation for why Green-Beckham should consider the Irish?
It's one of the most prestigious schools in the country and he would be on national television nearly every game. With Michael Floyd heading to the NFL, he would become the No. 1 receiver for one of the most popular teams in the sport.
Notre Dame may have had a couple of down seasons but they are heading in the right direction and look to be turning the corner with head coach Brian Kelly.
Arkansas
5 of 5Whichever school Green-Beckham decides to go to, he will likely become a starter and make a huge impact immediately. Can you imagine him in the Arkansas offense next season?
The Razorbacks are already great offensively and will have running back Knile Davis healthy next season. You put one of the most talented receivers on this team and give quarterback Tyler Wilson another weapon, don't be surprised if they compete for an SEC title.
The wide receiver from Missouri could put up fantastic numbers in this offense.
