College Football TV Schedule Week 14: What Games Have Big BCS Implications?

T.J. McaloonNov 27, 2011

Welcome back to what is the final week of the college football regular season.

I know, I'm sad, too.

Where did the time go this year? Doesn't it just seem like yesterday that we were watching Utah State come very close to upsetting Auburn on the day they were celebrating their national title? It's amazing how time can fly by us, as it seems like just yesterday Wisconsin was losing in back-to-back weeks on Hail Marry passes.

There have been a lot of ups and downs and twists and turns in the college football season this year. However, throughout all of the craziness the LSU Tigers have stood tall as the best team in the nation. With a win this week against the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship game they will be one step closer to completing their perfect year.

However, this week has the potential to be just as wild and unpredictable as any week this year. If Georgia, Oklahoma and Clemson can pull off an upset, winning their conference and earning a BCS Bowl bid, it will send a big monkey wrench into a lot of teams hoping for an at-large bid.

Let's hope the last week of the college season can go out with a bang with these conference championship games.

Because as The Doors said, "This is the end, my only friend, the end."
