Wyoming vs. Boise State: Latest Spread Info, BCS Impact and Predictions

While Wyoming is one of the tougher teams in the Mountain West Conference, this should be another easy win for the Boise State Broncos. They need more than an easy win, though.

With their loss to TCU two weeks ago, the Broncos need to win big against the Wyoming Cowboys to try and secure the best chance at an at-large BCS bid.

Betting Line: Over/Under: 61, Spread: Boise State -32.5

While I am taking the over on this game because I feel both teams will score 35 points or more, I have to take Wyoming and the points. Boise State is coming off a loss two weeks ago, and they haven’t covers a spread this large over their last five games. Boise State will win but I can see another 52-35 final score.

BCS/Top 25 Implications

While Wyoming isn’t fighting for much other than pride, this game has serious implications for Boise State. If the Broncos can beat up on a Wyoming team who has a solid record in a fashion that shows their dominance, they can still qualify for serious BCS consideration.

We all know that Kellen Moore and the Boise State offense is going to destroy Wyoming’s defense, but the problem for the Broncos is that their defense is susceptible to big plays. If true freshman can prove all the hype surrounding his true and pick apart the terrible Boise State secondary, Wyoming could win this game.
