Florida State vs. Florida: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time and More
The Florida Gators are playing host to the rival Florida State Seminoles with the Florida Cup on the line.
It’s going to be one of the most boring matchups in the long history of the rivalry and has barely any Top 25 meaning, let alone BCS bowl or national championship implications like it often does.
This should still be one heck of a football game, just without the luster and hype that normally precedes it.
Keep reading on to find out everything you need to know about the matchup.

Key Storyline: Is this the most unexciting Florida State vs. Florida matchup in over 20 years?
Both of these teams are unranked for the first time since 1986 upon meeting and are just 13-9 combined on the season.
Neither team has a chance of competing in their conference championship game or going to a major bowl game.
The two teams still hate one another but it won’t be as serious a game and will not have nearly as many implications as years past.

CB Jeremy Brown, OUT (Knee): Brown hasn’t been playing this month because of a knee injury he suffered and has kept him out of games and practice. He won’t be returning this week and perhaps not until next season.
BCS/Top 25 Implications
Florida State just got dumped from the Top 25 again this season after losing to Virginia.
They have an outside chance of finishing the season ranked by picking up a win on Saturday as road favorites heading into the swamp.
I think they’ll get it done and actually find themselves in a somewhat decent bowl game, but it’s still a major disappointment considering they were national championship contenders before the season kicked off.
Florida hasn’t been ranked for quite some time now and has no wins over ranked opponents this season. They played a tough schedule but proved to be too weak to overcome their more seasoned foes in 2011.
What They're Saying
Robbie Andreu over at The Gainesville Sun found that the Gators believe a win over FSU will help boost their team after a relatively mundane season.
He noted Coach Muschamp is not pleased with their performance this year but wants to end it on a positive note.
"A win over rival Florida State on Saturday won't override the losses this season, but “certainly ending on a positive note against Florida State would be a shot in the arm for us emotionally,” Florida coach Will Muschamp said at his weekly news conference today at UF.
"
They will be going to a bowl game as well this year, so two straight wins would certainly dull the pain of a disappointing campaign.
Cole Harvey at The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that the preexisting friendship between Seminoles coach Jimbo Fisher and Muschamp won’t affect anything on the field this Saturday.
""Right now, we're trying to win games and take care of our teams," Fisher said. "You don't even think about (being friends). You really don't. You have respect for your opponent, but right now, it's game week and that doesn't even factor into it."

Florida State Player To Watch: E.J. Manuel
Manuel gets his first chance to beat Florida as the starting QB for the Seminoles on Saturday.
He was backing up Christian Ponder last season but contributed on a few run plays in their 31-7 win over their rival.
Now we will see if he can get it done and continue his decent season against a tough SEC opponent.
Florida Player To Watch: Chris Rainey
Rainey was one of the better players for UF in last year’s battle for the Florida Cup.
Unfortunately it wasn’t enough to get it done and they lost in a blowout.
Let’s see how the speedy senior does in his final game against this team.
Key Matchup: John Brantley vs. Florida State defense
Brantley has been battling injury all season long and his team has been lost without him leading them.
The senior is going to be the key to Florida winning this game and a stellar game will translate into a win.
If he gets banged around and pressured by the Seminole pass rush, the Gators are going to have a tough time winning this game.
Prediction: Florida State 27, Florida 24
