NFL Week 11 Fantasy Football Rankings: Matt Forte and More RBs Who Will Clean Up
Fantasy disaster Chris Johnson finally woke up last week, but which running backs will step up in Week 11 action? Here are three great candidates to put up monster numbers:
Matt Forte, Chicago
One of the great things about Forte as a fantasy back is that he’s just as important to the Bears’ passing game as to the running game. As such, he gets touches regardless of whether the Bears are up 20 or down 20, and either is a plausible scenario against the Chargers on Sunday.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The odds, of course, favor the red-hot Bears (winners of four in a row and playing at home) over struggling San Diego (which has dropped four straight). Even if Philip Rivers and the Chargers offense finally return to form, though, Forte will get bushels of fantasy points against a defense that got filleted by Oakland backup Michael Bush last week.
Marshawn Lynch, Seattle
This has hardly been the season to bet on the Seahawks offense, but there’s no more favorable matchup for a running back than the St. Louis Rams. St. Louis is giving up over 150 yards per game on the ground, dead last in the NFL.
Lynch, like the rest of the Seattle team, played over his head in the upset of Baltimore last week, but there’s nothing wrong with riding the hot hand. Lynch is in for another triple-digit yardage effort, his third in a row after a weak start to the season.
Maurice Jones-Drew, Jacksonville
Jones-Drew’s Jaguar team has the 11th-best running game and the worst passing game in football. Cleveland has the league’s best pass defense and its third-worst run defense.
You do the math.
There’s no earthly reason for Jacksonville to do anything other than pound Jones-Drew 30-plus times in a matchup like this one. Considering that he just played a matchup like this one—against lowly Indianapolis—and picked up 114 yards and a TD, Jones-Drew is a safe bet to take advantage of another soft opponent.
