Week 11 Fantasy Football Rankings: LeSean McCoy and More RBs That Will Impress
Week 11 very well could be make or break for your fantasy league. One running back’s performance could determine whether or not you make the postseason. If you have one of these three impressive running backs, you will be one step closer to a playoff berth.
Is there any running back in a point per receptions league better than Matt Forte of the Chicago Bears? Not only is Forte leading the team in rushing, but he’s also leading the team in receptions with 42. He has been so good in the pass game that he is doubling the player with second-leading receptions on the team (Johnny Knox).

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Forte has grabbed 869 yards rushing and 439 yards receiving on the season. He will be going up against the 24th rushing defense in the league.
San Diego has been prone to give up plenty of points in 2011. They have allowed 25 points per game. Chances are, this game will be a shootout, and a running back that can catch the ball will always be the biggest benefactor.
Minnesota has struggled this season (2-7), but it isn’t because of running back Adrian Peterson. He still seems to be on top of his game, averaging 4.7 yards per carry en route to 846 yards total. Not only has Peterson scored 10 rushing touchdowns on the season, but he has scored at least one touchdown in five-straight games. There have been only two games all season that Peterson didn’t get into the end zone.
That’s production at the highest level.
It will continue against the Oakland Raiders and their 25th rushing defense. Oakland gave up nearly 300 yards rushing to the Denver Broncos in Week 9. I know Tim Tebow and their offensive style can be hard to defend, but 300 yards? Really?
That hasn’t been their only blooper of the season, though. They also gave up 223 yards to the Buffalo Bills, 183 yards to the New England Patriots and 139 to the Kansas City Chiefs. All were losses.
Peterson unquestionably has a big day.
LeSean McCoy
Quarterback Vince Young took all of Thursday’s first-team snaps in the absence of Michael Vick. When the New York Giants host the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night, it seems like Young will be under center.
How does this impact LeSean McCoy? It only helps his cause, especially in point per reception leagues.
Young is known for short-yardage passing, mixed in with the deep ball. McCoy will relish the opportunity to catch five, six passes on screens and check downs. Expect “Shady” to improve on his 31 receptions.
You should also expect a heavy dose of McCoy in the rushing attack. It isn’t any secret that this Eagles team is successful when McCoy gets 20 or more carries. When he achieves 20 or more carries, the Eagles are 2-1. When he has 20 or less, Philadelphia is 1-5. Andy Reid will want to limit Young, unlike Vick, giving McCoy more opportunities.
McCoy has scored three touchdowns in five career games against the Giants. He has rushed for 413 career yards against the Giants on a staggering 8.4 yards per carry.
It’s safe to suggest that the Eagles’ star running back will have a great day against the league’s 20th rush defense.
