BCS Rankings Week 12: The Hottest Player on Every BCS Top 25 Team

Randy ChambersNov 14, 2011

As every Top 25 team makes that final push to position themselves to reach a better bowl game, there are certain players that make a huge difference.

Here are the the hottest players on every BCS Top 25 team.

1. LSU Tigers - Jordan Jefferson

There are a lot of hot players on the No.1 team in the country, but Jefferson has played very well since coming back from suspension. So much that the Tigers are using him more and more in the offense. Jefferson and his athletic ability will be a huge factor in the Tigers possibly winning the BCS national championship.

2. Oklahoma State Cowboys - Brandon Weeden

When you throw nine touchdowns in two games you're pretty hot. You could easily put Justin Blackmon in this spot but, I'll give the guy that's been throwing him the ball a little more credit.

3. Alabama Crimson Tide - Trent Richardson

4. Oregon Ducks - LaMichael James

James is healthy and ready to go and has helped the Ducks become the favorites in the Pac-12. Who would have thought that Oregon could still have a shot at a national championship after that game against LSU?

5. Oklahoma Sooners - Landry Jones

6. Arkansas Razorbacks - Tyler Wilson

7. Clemson Tigers - Andre Ellington

8. Virginia Tech Hokies - David Wilson

9. Stanford Cardinal - Andrew Luck

10. Boise State Broncos - Kellen Moore

Kellen Moore has been a great collegiate quarterback and has been on fire lately. It's a shame that his career will end in a lousy bowl game due to another missed field goal.

11. Houston Cougars - Case Keenum

Is there really anybody else that should be in this spot? Keenum has been one of the hottest quarterbacks in the country for the last five seasons and the Cougars are just now getting credit for it.

12. South Carolina Gamecocks - Connor Shaw

13. Kansas State Wildcats - Collin Klein

14. Georgia Bulldogs - Aaron Murray

15. Michigan State Spartans - Kirk Cousins

16. Nebraska Cronhuskers - Rex Burkhead

17. Wisconsin Badgers - Montee Ball

Ball has been running like he stole something the past couple of weeks and is a big reason the Badgers are back in the hunt for a Big Ten title and BCS bowl game.

18. Michigan Wolverines - Denard Robinson

19. TCU Horned Frogs - Casey Pachall

20. Southern Miss - Austin Davis

21. Penn State Nittany Lions - Silas Reed

22. Baylor Bears - Roebrt Griffin

23. Texas Longhorns - Joe Bergeron

24. Auburn Tigers - Michael Dyer

25. Florida State Seminoles - Greg Reid
