BCS Rankings: Predicting the Top 25 After Boise State, Stanford Losses

Jim SullivanNov 13, 2011

Once again, the impossible seems to have occurred in college football. Of the Top Five teams, two lost in painful outings—killing national title hopes for those top-tier squads.

College football has finally arrived at the point where even the smallest, and seemingly weakest, of teams can scare some of the most storied and powerful programs in the country. We have hit a crossroads where being unranked doesn't mean you can't beat a Top Ten team.
