Kirk Herbstreit Video: Watch Lil Herbie's Surprise Appearance on ESPN

If you're a sucker for reporter bloopers, look no further than ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit the last couple of days.

After being caught on live TV experiencing an earthquake Saturday night, Herbstreit was talking about the latest BCS standings on Sunday on College Gameday when his son made a cameo appearance.

Already being nicknamed "Lil Herbie," Herbstreit's son certainly isn't camera-shy, which opens the door for a career as a sports reporter down the road.

He darted back and forth in the camera's view on Sunday before Herbstreit and his fellow ESPN colleagues couldn't focus anymore and began laughing hysterically.

You wonder if Lil Herbie is always hanging around Herbstreit, soaking up all the college football knowledge he can handle. Perhaps, this was his little way of getting in on the action and auditioning for College Gameday early on.

Just think, Herbie and Lil Herbie: like father, like son. Then they both could rail on Ohio State as a tandem, deflecting any nationwide uproar as they produce the best father-son combo in all of college football.

One thing's for sure: between the earthquake and Lil Herbie, Herbstreit has had an eventful couple of days on camera. You have to wonder what else is in store for the long-time ESPN reporter. Or what's in store for Lil Herbie.

This isn't over, of course. Lil Herbie will strike again, when Herbstreit is least expecting it, and etch his name into the annals of ESPN.
