LSU vs. Alabama: 3 Ways This Game Could End Up Being a Dud
We are just a day away from the biggest game of the year, which features the LSU Tigers against the Alabama Crimson Tide. Both teams are undefeated heading into this big game, and the winner will be in the driver seat to win the SEC title and BCS National Championship.
Both teams are similar in style, as they both play great defense and will have a gameplan of running the ball down the opposing team's throat. This game should also be a chess match between two of the college football's best coaches in Alabama's Nick Saban and LSU's Les Miles.
This is by far the most important game of the year and should become an instant classic.
"Should" is the key word, as we have seen several games in the past that were hyped up, only to let us down once they were played.
Here are a few ways this game could disappoint us all and become forgettable.

Les Miles Strikes Again
1 of 3We've seen time and time again where Les Miles has made mistakes, whether it be horrible clock management or ridiculous play calls that only work in video games.
It's pretty safe to say that Miles is a good head coach, but he has cost this program a few wins as well.
This game has been too hyped up to be decided by trying to run four plays in six seconds with no timeouts.
Let's all hope that Miles keeps a couple of timeouts in his back pocket and doesn't set up a terrible ending to a hopefully great game.
The Defenses Fail to Show Up
2 of 3This one is probably not going to happen as both defenses are the best in the country and are loaded with future NFL talent.
But if the defenses fail to do their job, this game would be a disappointment.
Way too many times in college football we see scores where both teams score in the high 40s. That may be nice for fans that love horrible football or high-scoring offense, but defense is part of the game as well. It would be nice if some teams played it.
Alabama and LSU aren't at the top of the rankings because of their offense.
It's expected to be a hard-hitting game and low-scoring game, and that's what I'm sure many want to see (including myself).
These teams take pride on their defense, and I'd like to see both teams excel at their strong suits.
If There Is a Blowout
3 of 3This is the game of the year and the biggest regular season game we've seen in a very long time.
Nothing less than a game that is decided by a touchdown or less will let most of the college football world down. We want to see a nail-biter and a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Many would like to see these two teams have a rematch in the national championship game. Possibly an overtime thriller could make that happen as the loser won't fall much in the rankings.
Regardless of what team ends up winning, we just want to see a historic game that comes down to the wire.
A blowout would be devastating.
