Kansas State vs. Oklahoma State: Cowboys Will Make BCS Title Statement in Win
A week after in-state rival Oklahoma made themselves BCS title relevant again after beating Kansas State, Oklahoma State will look to further their BCS title hopes with a win of their own.
Oklahoma State comes into their matchup with Kansas State with an 8-0 record, and off a big blowout win over Baylor.
Oklahoma will need to win out the rest of the season, beginning with Kansas State, as they will find it tough to make it into the BCS championship game.
Look for Oklahoma State to come out focused and ready to give the BCS brass a strong reminder of why Oklahoma State belongs in the BCS title game.
The Kansas State game is the biggest spot left on the Cowboys schedule to make their case for the BCS title game before what will become the second biggest game of the year—behind this week's LSU vs. Alabama game—with Oklahoma on December 3.
Expect Oklahoma State's quarterback Brandon Weeden and college football's No. 4-ranked passing offense to have a gigantic game vs. Kansas State, leading Oklahoma State to a much-needed victory.
The Cowboys will put up around their average of 49.9 points per game, which is second best in college football, and will hold Kansas State under 30 points, as they will come out and put a solid effort up at first, before Oklahoma State's offense takes the game over.
This win will be just the first step in Oklahoma State's path towards a BCS title berth, one that ends with a giant roadblock by the name of Oklahoma, one that Oklahoma State will be ready to bust through on their path to greatness.
