Coming into the new English Premier League season, everyone knew Manchester City would be a force.

But who predicted they would be this impressive? Only a few of the bolder fans thought this could happen.

City remain one of two unbeaten teams in the league, averaging 3.6 goals per game and sitting five points clear of second place.

Squad Depth, Feel Good Factor and Health

November sees Manchester City playing one less game than normal thanks to the international break midway through the month.

That gives Roberto Mancini's huge squad one less game to play, but you can bet the feel-good factor around the club will continue despite an all-time high in competition for places.

There are no new injuries for the Citizens to be concerned about and the squad looks deep, healthy and ready for the new month.

Fixture List Looks Good for City

This is a very winnable game in which Stefan Savic can step in to the City back line due to Vincent Kompany's red card and Kolo Toure's hearing.

Newcastle United at home comes after the international break and may well provide the Magpies with the reality check they are due.

The month ends in an incredibly tough game at Anfield that could go either way, but City are in the kind of form that could well see them depart Anfield with three points. Just ask Manchester United!

Circumstantial Advantage

Due to the three-game month, the only two other teams in the league who can take top spot off Manchester City—logically speaking—are Manchester United and Newcastle United.

Newcastle's schedule looks very tough and the five-point gap between the Manchester clubs is something I don't believe will be closed this month.

The Magies are punching well above their weight right now and look seriously impressive, and November will test their mettle. Two trips to Manchester after hosting a feisty Everton side is a tough run.

Manchester United have a very winnable month. They should overcome Newcastle and look nailed on to beat a struggling Sunderland and overcome a resilient Swansea City.

Is There a More in-Form Strike Force?

Manchester City have scored an incredible 36 goals in 10 league games.

Sergio Aguero and Edin Dzeko have scored nine goals each whilst Mario Balotelli has chipped in with five. Is there a more potent combination of strikers to choose from right now?

Manchester City's goal difference of plus-28 is what's keeping teams scared of them right now and they have all the tools to continue hitting the back of the net with regularity.

David Silva, Samir Nasri and Adam Johnson (who scored four last month) also provide a goal threat and right now when the goal alert flashes, it could be anyone who's scored.

It's a Big Month and They're Up for It

Manchester City. They're on top of the pile, on top of the world and the pressure is on.

It's a huge month in retaining league position, but it's also make-or-break in their UEFA Champions League campaign, too.
