In what can only be described as a tragic upset, the Boise State Broncos fell to the Ole Miss Rebels on the blue turf in Week 5.
Previously, Ole Miss did not have a win in the SEC this season and was expected to be an easy win for the Broncos who take their first SEC loss in their 2011 SEC fantasy football campaign. The Rebels were handled easily the week prior by a Georgia Bulldogs team that struggled against the Broncos in the first game of the season.
The Broncos defense was expected to smother the Rebels offense, which has struggled most of the year. Instead, Boise State found themselves in a shootout for most of the game until their final drive stalled near the end of the fourth quarter.
The Broncos are now 3-1 (3-1 SEC) and will face Mississippi State University.
