Houston Texans' Season Doomed If Injured WR Andre Johnson Misses 6 Weeks
Two weeks ago, the Houston Texans were riding high after a hard-fought victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers and leading the AFC South with a 3-1 record. Things have come crashing down for them in the last two weeks without star wide receiver Andre Johnson, and they may not be getting him back any time soon.
During an interview on the Vandy & Lopez Radio Show, Johnson said that he is definitely out for Week 7 against Tennessee, and that a timetable for his return has not been set.
If Johnson does end up missing six weeks, the Texans are going to have a hard time getting to the postseason. We have seen how well this offense, specifically quarterback Matt Schaub, plays without the four-time All-Pro.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Schaub's accuracy has gone down in the two games that Johnson has missed. He completed just 47 percent of his passes against Oakland in Week 5 and 57 percent against Baltimore last week.
The Texans have the playmakers to still be a good offense without Johnson, but the dynamic just isn't there for them right now. Perhaps they are like a house of cards, already unstable and when you pull one card away the whole thing comes tumbling down.
Head coach Gary Kubiak needs to rally his team and get back to playing the way they were earlier in the season. They need to focus on running the ball with Arian Foster and Ben Tate to control the clock and take pressure off Schaub.
The high hopes that the Texans had at the start of the season are quickly fading away because there is no chemistry with the offense right now. If Johnson does, in fact, miss six weeks, we will be talking about another disappointing season for this team.
