Cleveland Browns 2011: Organization Continues to Test Will of 'Believeland'
Welcome to "Believeland", the place where winning is expected but never accomplished, where expectations are high but never fulfilled, and where inconsistency is the way of life.
Does this sound a bit pessimistic to you? Perhaps, but in Believeland, reality is hardly a concern.
Those who "live" in Believeland even have a set of 10 Commandments. I promise you this is no joke.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
1.) We will be loud.
2.) We will bring attitude.
3.) We will wear our colors.
4.) We will enter every game anticipating victory. (Seriously?)
5.) We will be a positive representation of Northeast Ohio. (Again, Seriously?)
6.) We will be fairly and competitively disruptive of our opponent's efforts.
7.) We will have high expectations of the Stewards of our franchises.
8.) We will invest extra energy in the following games: Browns vs. Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Baltimore, Indians vs. New York and Chicago, Cavaliers vs. Chicago, Detroit and Miami.
9.) We will stay until the end of every game.
10.) We will applaud our team every time they give a full effort.
Now I want to be clear here. I think it's admirable that these fans have made some effort here and decided to start a movement. The problem I have is that there is no accountability for an organization that has continuously made horrible decisions at the expense of the fans or better yet the citizens of "Believeland."
Consider that since the Browns returned to Cleveland in 1999, there have been five different general managers and countless other presidents and CEOs that have come and gone. As a coaching staff there have been six different head coaches during that span, with seven offensive and defensive coordinators.
From a talent perspective, you don't have to look further than the 16 different quarterbacks that have started games for the Browns since '99.
When team president Mike Holmgren took over in 2009, you had a sense that the organization was finally heading in the right direction, but the inconsistency remains.
I will admit that there are some bright spots within the organization currently. GM Tom Heckert has done a solid job acquiring young talent. But the inconsistency remains and with the recent contract issues with star running back Peyton Hillis, how are we to Believeland things will get better?
