B/R Top 25 College Football Poll: Week 5
With a majority of the top 25 finally playing conference games you will see a lot of changes in the next few weeks, especially from the Big 12 and SEC as the elite start playing each other.
Week five was another action packed weekend which included many changes in the poll.
Here is the top 25 voted on by 18 B/R writers.

Sun Devils quarterback Brock OIsweiler threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns but also threw three interceptions.
Arizona State picked off Oregon State quarterback Sean Mannion four times in the Sun Devil win.

Notes: Kansas State wasn't supposed to be a top 25 caliber team but don't tell them that as they beat Baylor 36-35 on Saturday.
Quarterback Collin Klein was spectacular again for the Wildcats as he passed for 146 yards and two touchdowns while running for 113 yards and a touchdown.

Notes: Robert Griffin threw his first interception of the season at the worst possible time as Kansas State's Arthur Brown picked him off and returned it to the Baylor 15 yard line with just five minutes to go.
Besides the interception Griffin was spectacular again throwing for 346 yards and five touchdowns in defeat.

Kirk Cousins had 250 yards passing and a touchdown while receiver B.J. Cunningham caught nine passes for 154 yards and a touchdown for the Spartans.

Auburn was able to hold Marcus Lattimore to just 66 rushing yards and intercepted Stephen Garcia twice.

David Wilson was the only player for the Hokies that was effective as he ran for 123 yards on 20 carries.

Stephen Garcia struggled once again at throwing the ball as he threw for two more interceptions. He now has four touchdowns and nine interceptions for the season.

Notes: Illinois went 69 yards in the final minute to play to cap off the victory against Northwestern, 38-35.
Quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase had 391 yards and three touchdowns in the comeback victory.

Notes: Florida's John Brantley started off the game with a 65-yard touchdown on the first play, but unfortunately it was the only time they saw the end zone all night.
Brantley got hurt late in the second quarter and did not return, leaving the offense in shambles as freshman Jeff Driskel was unable to move the ball.
Brantley had 190 yards passing and a touchdown before he got hurt.

Rex Burkhead was the only bright spot as he had 96 yards and a touchdown on just 18 carries.

The Yellow Jackets continued their impressive run game with 10 different people running the ball.
Georgia Tech quarterback Tevin Washington had just four completions but two of them were for touchdowns.

David Ash threw for 145 yards and two touchdowns for the Longhorns while Jaxon Shipley had 141 yards and a touchdown receiving.

Michigan's Denard Robinson didn't have the gaudy numbers as he threw for 169 yards and two touchdowns while running for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Oh, the reason why his numbers weren't huge in the blowout, he only played two and a half quarters.

Arkansas receiver Jarius Wright caught 13 passes for 281 yards and a touchdown in the win.
