Liverpool Transfer Rumours: Craig Bellamy Coming Back from Manchester City?
Rumours are circulating in the likes of the Guardian newspaper, amongst others, that Liverpool are ready to bring in former striker Craig Bellamy on a free transfer from Manchester City, as Kenny Dalglish looks to bolster his attacking options before the transfer window closes.
Though Bellamy is rumoured to be on a large, £95,000-per-week contract, the rumours claim that the club are willing to sanction those wages—as long as there is no transfer fee to be paid initially.
With Bellamy not even close to being included in City's team, it is perhaps likely they would allow him to leave for nothing with Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez and Edin Dzeko all available for selection, while Roque Santa Cruz and Emmanuel Adebayor also remain at the club.

The Welsh striker was first brought to Liverpool from Blackburn Rovers by Rafa Benitez in 2006 for around £6 million and played 41 times for the Reds in his only season at the club, scoring nine times.
A mixed campaign saw him score in his debut and also later in the Champions League fixture against Barcelona at Camp Nou—but also become involved with an incident involving John Arne Riise, who he allegedly hit with a golf club before the same match.
After just one season at Anfield, Bellamy was offloaded to West Ham.
Bellamy offers pace, determination, an eye for goal and no shortage of versatility, being capable as he is of playing on either side of the pitch or up front, but also brings his share of baggage with his fast mouth and inconsistent finishing. The fact he has also been playing in the Championship for the past year, on loan at his home town Cardiff City, will also go against him in the eyes of some fans.
With David N'gog still rumoured to be heading to Bolton Wanderers, Liverpool will look to shore up their squad in the final third, but it remains to be seen if Bellamy is indeed the man the Reds turn to for supporting the likes of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez.
