Fabio Coentrao Expected to Sign with Real Madrid

According to Goal.com, Fabio Coentrao is expected to sign with Real Madrid after completing his physical examination. Real Madrid have been involved in talks with Benfica president Luis Filipe Vieira concerning the defender.

The sum of the deal between Benfica and Real Madrid (which was reported in Record and published by Goal.com) was €22 million, or $34 million. The sources from Spain refused to comment about the transaction when asked by the Lusa News Agency.
