Cesc Fabregas: Reasons To Go to Barcelona or Stay at Arsenal
This isn't something new to Arsenal fans.
For years, Fabregas' choice of whether to go to Barcelona has been a "will he or won't he" scenario, with each year that he has stayed in North London, there have been more and more rumors about his leaving. With fans, it's a case of tug-of-war: Barcelona fans want him in Catalonia, while Arsenal fans want him to remain a Gunner.
Arsene Wenger has shown confidence in Fabregas staying at Arsenal:

"I will be pretty clear about this, Wenger told The Sun. For me, Fabregas is with Arsenal for a long time and he will stay with Arsenal."
However, Guardiola has also shown interest in the 24-year-old, as last year he made bids of £30 million and £35 million, only to see them rejected.
Here are factors that can affect Cesc's decision:
Reasons To Stay at Arsenal
The position played by Fabregas is already occupied by Andres Iniesta and Xavi "Chameleon Eyes" Hernandez in Barcelona, so there are doubts as to whether he would get much playing time. The situation is the same with the Spanish national team, since all three play for Spain. In that squad, Iniesta and Xavi start, while Fabregas comes on in the second half. I'm sure Cesc doesn't want that to be the case, but it might be if he goes to Barcelona.
Recently, Fabregas' form has not been so good, due to numerous injuries and his inability to play matches. Maybe he doesn't want to end his Arsenal career like this; he may want to leave next year on a higher note.
Reasons To Move to Barcelona
If Fabregas really wants a trophy that badly, his best bet is at Barcelona, who have won six trophies in the last two years. The Catalans are virtually unstoppable, with Xavi and Iniesta controlling the midfield, not to mention the world's best player Lionel Messi leading the attack. Their sturdy defence with Carles Puyol and Gerard Pique doesn't concede too often either. Their passing game is extremely hard to defend, not to mention a beauty to watch.
Though it's true that he might not get too much playing time this year, Xavi is already 31, and who knows how many more years he has in him. So, it might be ideal for Cesc to leave after the retirement of Xavi.
The biggest reason Fabregas could choose to depart is this: Barcelona is his home. Fabregas is Catalan, and it's entirely possible that he misses home. He has many friends there (his celebrity friends in Barcelona are people like Puyol and Pique). He grew up there, and also trained at La Masia (Barcelona's academy) for six years. I would not blame Fabregas for being homesick.
Conclusion
I think Fabregas should stay at Arsenal for a couple more years until Xavi retires. Then, I think he should make a move and go back home to Barcelona, and join his friends and family.
