
Conference USA: 2011 Marshall Thundering Herd Football Schedule
Marshall University will enter the 2011 season looking to improve on a 5-7 record in 2010 under first year coach Doc Holliday.
Holliday enters his sophomore season as head coach of the "Thundering Herd" and kicks off the 2011 campaign against in-state rival, West Virginia University.
Eight of the Herd's twelve games will be featured on television with the aforementioned rivalry game against WVU being televised on ESPN.
Marshall's annual Green and White game closed out the team's spring drills and Bleacher Report looks ahead to the team's upcoming schedule.
West Virginia Mountaineers
