Cudicini’s Last Season?

Carlo Cudicini, who could be featuring for Chelsea against Middlesbrough with Petr Cech doubtful, has hinted he’s thinking about moving on.
Hardly surprising really after nearly a decade with us, during which he lost his slot as our first choice keeper to Cech and spent way too long playing second fiddle for a keeper with his ability. And although the he made the decision to stay at the start of this campaign, Carlo has suggested this could be his last season at Stamford Bidge.
The Italian says “This is not yet the time to talk about the market but I am thinking. I have been here in London since 1999 and I have played little but it was an important life choice.”
Not that he isn’t impressed with the new regime and his boss because he goes on “the new manager is a winner like Mourinho. He has won lots of honours and the beginning of the season has been very positive despite us having many injuries. He has had a big impact on English football.”
Mind you, he may not be as keen on the Brazilian as he’s letting on because he adds “but it would have been attractive to have an Italian coach after Ranieri.”
Strange timing with these statements you’d have to say but it’s always been inevitable.
