No Change for the Poor: SEC, Big 12 Remain 1-2 in Conference Strength
Scott GlesnerSep 28, 2008
This weekend was full of upsets and poll-changing games. However, most games are starting to be in conference—thus there will not be too many changes to conference strength.
The SEC and Big 12 maintain their 1-2 spots in conference strength. The Big Ten stays at No. 3 as the ACC moves up to fourth. The MWC holds off the Big East for fifth.
Some interesting records jump out though. With Virginia Tech and Florida State obtaining wins, the ACC moves to 4-0 on the Big 12. The Pac-10's struggles are mounting with a 0-3 record versus the Big 12 and a 1-5 mark against the MWC.
(I saw an error in my analysis and quickly edited this article.)
