Real Madrid, Arsenal and and the World's 10 Highest Grossing Soccer Clubs
Among soccer clubs in Europe there are several annual on-field competitions: domestic leagues, the UEFA Champions League, the Europa Cup and clubs' respective domestic cups.
There is, however, one other competition that is decided not on the field but in the boardroom: the Football Money League, as compiled by the accounting firm Deloitte.
Recently, the Money League has taken on a familiar cast as the top 10 clubs remain unchanged from last year and, indeed, six of the top 10 have been in the top 10 each of the last 10 years.
There is a clear separation at the top of European soccer that should make the Steinbrenners and Jerry Joneses of the world extremely jealous.
