Chelsea Fans Score an Own Goal in Trying To Mock Liverpool
Chelsea fans have been visibly happy with the signing of Fernando Torres, a player who had tormented them over the years.
Ideally, manager Carlo Ancelotti should have been more astute like Dalglish who did not rush his new signing into playing. However, I am not too sure how much say Ancelotti really had on the matter.
There was a certain cockiness to the attitude of some Chelsea supporters who wanted to rub in the fact that Torres could make his debut against his former club.

Most Liverpool fans were able to recognize the Shankly gates at first sight. And because of those handful of Chelsea fans, all of Chelsea became the laughing stock in the media.
Although I am a Liverpool supporter, I do believe that Torres, barring any long-term injury, would be a great success at Chelsea. Also, considering the fact that Drogba and Anelka are over 30 and being cognizant of the impact of the financial fair-play rules, the signing of Torres might turn out to be a great deal.
