National Signing Day 2011: Florida State Comes Away With The Nation's Top Class

Danny FlynnFeb 2, 2011

Bobby who?

Second year head coach Jimbo Fisher is starting to make a name for himself at Florida State. With recruiting efforts like the one he came up with this year, he's beginning to step out of the shadows of the legendary Bobby Bowden.

Fisher and his staff were able to put together the top 2011 recruiting class in the country and it all culminated in a celebratory Signing Day today.

The Seminoles signed 28 prospects, 21 of them from the state of Florida.

Many of the recruits such as James Wilder, Karlos Williams and Bobby Hart are considered to be some of the top players at their respective positions.

Florida State should be one of the frontrunners for the ACC Championship next season and if Fisher keeps things up on the recruiting trail with classes like this, things should stay that way for years to come.

Here's a look at the 28 future Seminoles from the 2011 class.
