Fernando Torres Will Be a Chelsea Failure: He Should've Stayed with a Real Club

What's the best thing that happened to Liverpool this January?

Was it the signings of Suarez or Carroll? Or was it the unbeaten run that has seen us reach sixth place?

There's only one answer to that question: the last-minute sale of the traitor, the fool and hollow soul, Fernando Torres.

Although El Nino's £50 million move to London shocked most pundits and fans, you cannot say the career-destroying move was never in the cards; however, the timing of Torres' move was both surprising and also disrespectful to a club who had given him every opportunity to succeed.

But however disappointing it may be for the whole Liverpool community to see Torres go in such a manner, we must move on. Put it like this: we have more to look forward to than Torres and Chelsea.

Despite what anyone says, it may be quite some time before Torres returns to near his best form, and there's no hiding the fact that Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba will be favoured over him if his uninspired and tired performance on his debut is any indication of form to come.

But there's no way Carlo Ancelotti will put £50 million to waste and he'll try his very hardest to return the Spaniard to form.

But, apologies to Chelsea fans, to no success. 

It's also no secret that Torres has struggled with injury in recent times, and his frail body condition will no doubt continue to let him down. But moreover, not only will he have consistent long-term and short-term injuries, he may be forced in to early retirement.

Now, some of you may be asking why I would even mention that now but for Chelsea, it is key that Torres lasts the distance so that he becomes apart of the next generation of players to kick start them when the old folks such as John Terry, Florent Malouda, Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba retire.
