10. Sergio Ramos Is Set To Leave Real Madrid, EPL on Alert
1 of 10
Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea are on alert as reports surface of a Sergio Ramos rift with Cristiano Ronaldo at Real Madrid .
Rumours have circulated that the Spanish right back is now looking to quit the Bernabeu, with Inter Milan and AC Milan also interested in snapping him up.
The 24-year-old is contracted to Real until 2013 and is valued at €20m-30m.
Ramos was one of Spain's best players at the World Cup, and is essential at both ends of the pitch for club and country.
With his power and pace, Ramos has been very tough to beat at the back. He is an enthusiastic player who is good in the air and never shies away from a challenge. He is exceedingly comfortable on the ball and drives forward at every opportunity, giving his side an excellent option out wide.
He was the most influential and effective player in South Africa, according to a special evaluation system of all the players in the tournament.

2 of 10
The Brazilian striker has been interesting a host of European clubs, but Porto is desperate to hold on to him.
Tottenham is said to be very much in the race to sign FC Porto's "Hit Man" Hulk.
According to the Mail, Spurs scouts have watched the Brazilian on more than 30 occasions in the last two years and are serious contenders to land him.
But the steely forward will not come cheap, as Manchester City last month considered a groundbreaking €85m bid for the international.
As City has since gone on to sign Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko, Tottenham's chances of signing the prolific striker have improved, but they will still have to shatter their transfer record to land Porto's star man.
8. Arsenal Star Andrey Arshavin's Former Russian Club Zenit Interested
3 of 10
Zenit St. Petersburg is hoping to bring back the Russian international following his dip in form at Arsenal.
Russian giants Zenit St Petersburg have emerged as surprise candidates to re-employ Arsenal trickster Andrey Arshavin.
Juventus were widely reported to be considering a bid for the midfielder, who has been in disappointing form for Arsenal in recent weeks.
But Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger refuted a supposed move by saying he is "desperate" to keep Arshavin at the Emirates.
"I personally believe he is a great player—he is going through a period where it is more difficult at the moment. But he works very hard in training—his attitude is fantastic and I am desperate to keep him," Wenger said.
It remains to be seen whether Zenit could come up with a sufficient offer to change Wenger's mind.
7. Dani Alves to Seal Manchester City Move in the Summer
4 of 10
The Dani Alves saga continues to run and run, with Manchester City now said to be in line to sign the Barcelona right back in the summer.
The 27-year-old, who is contracted to Barcelona until 2012, has been in protracted talks about an extension to his deal with the Catalan club. But according to Spanish sources, the chances of a contract extension are dwindling from day to day.
The Brazilian defender has been linked with a move to Manchester City for some time. Reports last month indicated that the Eastlands outfit was willing to offer the player an €8 million-a-year contract until 2016. There has also been speculation that Chelsea would challenge Manchester City for Alves' signature, should he become available.
Alves joined Barcelona from Sevilla in 2008 and has developed into one of the best attacking right backs in the world, underlined by his 2010 Ballon D’Or nomination. Since arriving at the Camp Nou, Alves has won the Spanish league twice and a Champions League.
However, Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has rubbished talk of Dani Alves leaving the club by stating that the player will continue with the La Liga giants for years to come.
The speculation has been rife that Dani Alves has rejected Barcelona's offer to extend his contract, with Manchester City looking to seal a summer switch for the former Sevilla man.
But speaking to Barcelona's official website, Guardiola ensured that negotiations to keep the right back at Nou Camp are going well.
“Alves will be a Barca player for the next few years,” he said.
“As far as I know, negotiations haven’t broken down. I don’t think the situation will distract him either, though if that does happen we will all help him, but his form hasn’t dipped at all since he began talking with the club about this."
6. Sunderland Hope To Move Pip Everton and Aston Villa to Pavlyuchenko
5 of 10
Sunderland is hoping to move Pip Everton and Aston Villa to Tottenham for striker Roman Pavlyuchenko, according to the Mail.
The Russian striker has scored nine goals in 22 games for Spurs this season, and has a league efficiency ratio of a goal or assist every 147.4 minutes.
However, he has failed to hold down a first-team place under Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp, and is slightly behind Jermain Defoe and Peter Crouch in the pecking order, with Rafael Van Der Vaart usually playing behind a lone front man for the Lilywhites.
Pavlyuchenko is contracted to Spurs until 2013 and although he has been offered a new deal, he says he's fed up with sitting on the bench.
"The contract offer doesn't suit me," he said. "And there are rumours: (Emmanuel) Adebayor is coming to us, then (Andy) Carroll from Newcastle.
"If it proves true, I'm not satisfied with being fourth or fifth choice. I don't want to go back to sitting on the bench."
Redknapp said that although he's keen on holding onto the 29-year-old, he would not be opposed to selling him for the right money.
"I don't want to sell Pav, but if someone made the right offer and he wanted to move, I am sure it is something that the club will look at," said the Tottenham boss.
5. Real Madrid Slap £18m Price Tag on Tottenham Target Lassana Diarra
6 of 10
The Spurs will have to break the bank in order to land the former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder.
Real Madrid has reportedly told Tottenham Hotspur they will be required to pay £18m for the services of 25-year-old midfielder Lassana Diarra .
The French international, who formerly played for Arsenal and Chelsea, has been with Real Madrid for the past three years following his move from Portsmouth.
It appears that while Real boss Jose Mourinho is not keen on losing Diarra, the price involved could fuel the La Liga side's search for a striker.
4. Valencia Close to Signing Gremio Striker Jonas
7 of 10
The 26-year-old Brazilian is on his way to Spain after Gremio accepted Valencia's bid for him.
Brazilian striker Jonas, who holds an outstanding tally of 40 goals in 59 matches for Gremio, is close to joining La Liga giants Valencia.
Gremio chief Vicente Martins confirmed that Jonas requested the club to accept Valencia's bid for him after an offer from Russia had already been denied.
"The board had already rejected a good offer from Russia. But last night Jonas came to us and asked for the bid from Valencia to be accepted. We have announced the agreement."
Aritz Aduriz is currently Valencia's top scorer with eight goals.
3. Wolves Closing in on Loan Deal for Manchester City's Dedryck Boyata
8 of 10
Wigan is set to lose out on City defender Dedryck Boyata with the Wolves close to securing a move.
The Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly on the brink of landing Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata on loan until the end of the season.
Mick McCarthy's side faced competition from Wigan Athletic for the 20-year-old but, according to The People, seems to have won the race for his services.
It is believed that the Wolves were made to promise City manager Roberto Mancini that Boyata will feature regularly in the first-team lineup at Molineux, as the Italian wants to see the player back at Eastlands next season more ready to compete for a starting spot.
2. Ajax Ace Luis Suarez Wants Premier League Move Amid Liverpool Interest
9 of 10
The Uruguay star says he's keen on a move to the English top flight.
World Cup 2010 star Luis Suarez confessed he is now interested in a move to the English Premier League.
Speaking to the Sunday Times, the prolific Ajax striker admitted he has been inspired by the form of Manchester City star Carlos Tevez and believes he can also make an impact in England.
"I used to think that English football was not my style. But I saw Tevez play at Boca and Corinthians and I never imagined that he would play in the Premier League.
"When I see the way that Tevez plays there, I think I can be a big name in England. It's because of the energy and the spirit they put into the game in England. Now I think it's a kind of football that suits me," he said.
And Ajax manager Frank de Boer has urged Liverpool to bid for Suarez sooner rather than later so that his club will have enough time to prepare in advance.
"We won't let Luis go on January 31 at 23.55," he told De Telegraaf.
1. Real Madrid Boss Jose Mourinho Wants To Swap Karim Benzema for Chelsea Strike
10 of 10
Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho still has his eye on Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
And according to Spanish sources, the Portuguese coach has asked Real Madrid general manager Jorge Valdano to try and push through a swap deal involving Karim Benzema.
Benzema scored yesterday as Real beat Malloca 1-0, but the Frenchman has failed to win the trust of Mourinho, who continues to look for another replacement for the injured Gonzalo Higuain.
Liverpool has reportedly set their sights on the 23-year-old, who has been criticised by teammate Kaka for not getting involved enough in games.
