However, he will like to forget all that when Liverpool visit Blackpool. This is because Liverpool are not the title challengers this time around.

Instead, they are just one place above Blackpool in the Premier League table and any kind of upsetting defeat would result in Blackpool moving up over them.

Kenny Dalglish would have certainly hoped for a better fixture list at the start of his tenure. He has already faced Manchester United in an away trip and it has been followed by yet another away trip.

Even though the Man United trip in the FA Cup third round ended in a defeat, the team looked like responding to Dalglish's arrival and things could finally blossom for the Merseyside team at Blackpool tomorrow.

Kenny Dalglish, however, will have to cope with the loss of Steven Gerrard, who is suspended after the red card against Manchester United.
