The January Transfer Window is approaching quickly, and in the world of football that means rumors, rumors and more rumors.
This week was definitely no exception, producing a handful of rumors, some more credible than others. Now it's time to take a look at some of this weeks biggest transfer gossip.
10. Gael Kakuta Loan To Marseille

According to the French press, Olympique Marseille chairman Jean-Claude Dassier is keen to sign highly rated French winger Gael Kakuta on loan from Chelsea in January on a six month deal.
The 19-year-old signed a four-and-a-half year contract with Chelsea earlier in the week, however, a loan deal is not out of the question.
9. AC Milan to Make Move for Kompany

According to The Sun, AC Milan are prepared to make a move for Manchester City centre back Vincent Kompany.
The Belgian international has been very impressive this season and is valued around £8-£12 million.
Further speculation has stated that Milan's vice president Adriano Galliano is willing to offer Ronaldinho in an exhange deal.
8. Mirsolav Klose To Lazio

Recent speculation has linked German international Miroslav Klose with a move to Italian club Lazio.
The Bayern Munich striker has been disappointing this year and could leave in January for a reported £3 million.
When asked about a move to Italy, Klose commented, "Rome is a nice city and I don't doubt I would like to play there."
7. Canales to Arsenal on Loan Deal

Spanish magazine Sport has reported that Arsenal are interested in securing Real Madrid youngster Sergio Canales on a loan deal this January.
Since arriving at the Spanish capital in the summer, the 19-year-old attacking midfielder has failed to break into the first team on a regular basis. He has only played three matches in the Primera Divison and two in the Copa del Rey.
Jose Mourinho has already stated that the spanish starlet cannot leave the club on a permanent basis, but with the presence of Ozil and Kaka it is likely that Canales could be sent out on loan.
6. Manchester United To Sign

Shakhtar Donetsk's attacking midfielder Douglas Costa is being scouted by some of Europe's top clubs.
After moving to Europe earlier this year, he has earned himself the nickname the "new Ronaldinho." The former Gremio man was linked with Manchester United a year ago, but opted for a move to Ukranian soccer.
However, it appears that Manchester United have put the Brazilian international back on their transfer list and lead the pack of clubs vying for his signature.
He has started the season in impressive fashion, scoring five times in 12 matches as well as scoring one goal and assisting two as Shakhtar topped Champion's League Group H.
Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Arsenal are also interested in the player who would cost at least £20 million.
5. Liverpool Prepare Move for Marek Hamsik

According to reports eminating from Slovakia, Liverpool are ready to offer £12 million for Napoli playmaker Marek Hamsik.
The 23-year-old has a natural ability to create goal scoring oppurtunities, but has also proved he has an eye for goal himself with seven goals and two assists in 17 appearances this season.
He has claimed that he is very happy in Naples, but could be interested in the oppurtunity to depart for a bigger club.
Liverpool will have stiff competition though, with Manchester United and Inter Milan also expressing interest in the Solvakian international.
4. Manchester United Plot Swoop for Lassana Diarra

Reports from England have said that Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to add to his weak midfield with a £12 million bid for Real Madrid's Lassana Diarra.
However, Jose Mourinho has expressed that he has different plans, hoping to offer Diarra in part of a player-plus-cash deal for Manchester United's young striker Chicharito.
Ferguson is not likely to yet Javier Hernandez (Chicharito) go, but is still keen on Diarra, so it will be quite interesting to see how this deal plays out.
3. Inter Plan £20m Swoop for Nani

Inter Milan's new coach Leonardo is reportedly ready to bring Portuguese winger Nani to the San Siro.
After arriving at Manchester United in 2007, Nani is having a spectacular season and is valued at around £20 million.
Inter will not have a large budget in the January transfer window, but Nani is reportedly one of their top priorities for next summer.
2. Chelsea Plan £30 Million Move for Sneijder

Italian sources have said that Chelsea are chasing Inter Milan's Wesley Sneijder.
The highly rated playmaker has had a career year in 2010, winning the Champion's League with Inter and reaching the World Cup Finals with the Netherlands.
He hasn't started this season very impressively but is still an important assett to Inter and is valued around €30 million.
Sneijder recently extended his contract at Inter until 2015, but a move is not out of the picture.
1. Arsenal Consider Fabregas Swap Deal

If reports can be trusted, Cesc Fabregas may very well be on his way to the Camp Nou.
After being heavily linked with former club Barcelona in the summer, Fabregas remained at Arsenal, but could be heading their in the new year in part of a player exchange deal.
Barcelona are appearantly ready to offer Javier Mascherano in place of Fabregas. Mascherano only arrived at the club this summer but has failed to find a regular spot in the squad over Sergio Busquets.
Arsene Wenger may be looking to add a little more to his midfield and could send current captain Fabregas to Camp Nou, where he has been a target for quite a while.
