4-Star WR Kelvin Benjamin Set to Commit to Florida, Florida State or Miami
At 6'6" and 210 lbs, Benjamin is a huge target that some have projected as a tight end, but he's shown the speed and athleticism to be a force at wide receiver.
He makes the tough catches, the acrobatic, circus catches. Add in his size, speed, and toughness and he's one of the toughest covers in the country.
Benjamin needs to work on his route running, concentration, and separation skills, but the tools are there for him to be a truly special talent. He's the No. 10 receiver of the 2011 class.
It goes without saying that he's heavily sought-after, receiving well over 40 offers before narrowing his selections down to Florida, Florida State and Miami. Benjamin will be announcing his decision on December 23.
Miami

The Bell Glade, Florida native did what many in-state prospects do. He kept Miami in the picture just in case.
But with Randy Shannon gone as head coach and his replacement, Al Golden, scrambling to make up ground recruiting, there's only a shot in the dark that he decides to roll with Miami at this point.
Now if Golden can get in his ear before Thursday's decision that would be a different story.

Florida

Florida and Florida State are in a two-team battle for all intensive purposes.
It looks like the Gators were falling out of the equation when Urban Meyer stepped down as coach, but former Texas defensive coordinator and new head coach at Florida, Will Muschamp convinced Benjamin to delay his commitment announcement three days after they spoke on Sunday.
Benjamin has been hush-hush about the details of that conversation, but needless to say, it can't be good news for Florida State.

Regardless of the delay in Benjamin's commitment, Florida State doesn't appear to be blinking at this point as almost all insider information points straight towards Tallahassee.
Former Glades Central receiver Greg Dent, a high school teammate and close friend of Benjamin's, was part of the Seminoles 2010 recruiting class and multiple sources have said Dent is a major driving force in Benjamin's decision.
When he makes his commitment public at 4 p.m. on Thursday, expect him to be wearing a Seminoles hat.
