College Football Conference Races: The Five Games That Will Decide Each Champion
This has undoubtedly been one of the wildest college football seasons in recent memory. And as we head into the final full month of the regular season, we still have no idea who will win each of the six BCS conferences.
The ACC, Big East, Big 12, Big Ten, Pac 10, and SEC each have at least three teams with a legitimate shot at winning the conference. And it looks like nothing will be set in stone until the final weekend of the season.
Sure, the favorites like Auburn in the SEC and Oregon in the Pac-10 are the teams that stick out at this point in time, but there are a few teams out there who seem to be lurking in the shadows, readying for a November pounce.
Some conferences like the Big East are so jumbled right now that it seems like all eight teams have a shot while others like the Pac-10 have some clear front runners in Oregon, Stanford and Arizona.
Let’s have a look at the five games in each conference that will have a big affect on who comes out on top when all is said and done.
Obviously for the ACC, the Big 12 and the SEC, the conference championship games will of course be the most crucial games, but the division races for the right to get there still remain unsettled in all three conferences.
