BCS Rankings 2010: How Will Final BCS Differ from the First BCS Poll?
With the first BCS Rankings 2010 poll being released, there will be no shortage of opinions and debates around the water cooler come Monday morning.
We won't agree on just about every team in the poll and where they stand. But the bigger debate will take place on just where these teams will be when the season starts to wrap up.
That's what we're going to talk about right now. We'll go through all 25 teams that are in the BCS poll and we'll talk about what might trip them up and the players that are key for them to stay where they are or move up in the rankings.
So, without further ado, let's get to it.
No. 25: Virginia Tech
1 of 25
Showcase game: Nov 20th at (25) Miami
Trap game: Nov 13th at North Carolina
Crucial player: Tyrod Taylor
Where they'll end up: Are the Hokies the team that have reeled off five straight since losing their first two games of the season against Boise State and James Madison?
Maybe, but they won't get higher than possibly 15th by season's end.
No. 24: Mississippi State
2 of 25
Showcase game: Nov 13th at Alabama
Trap game: Oct. 30th vs Kentucky
Crucial player: Vick Ballard
Analysis: Mississippi State still has a tough schedule to face but picking up wins in their next few games leading up to Alabama will be a big confidence boost for them.
Where they'll end up: Out of the rankings
No. 23: Arkansas
3 of 25
Showcase game: Nov. 6th at South Carolina
Trap game: Oct. 23rd vs Ole Miss
Crucial player: Ryan Mallett
Analysis: Arkansas has been just one play or a few breaks away from being one of the unbeaten teams. They could easily be a top 10 team if a few things had gone their way. But, that's why they play the game.

No. 21: South Carolina
5 of 25
Showcase game: Nov. 6th vs Arkansas
Trap game: Oct. 30th vs Tennessee
Crucial player: Stephen Garcia
Analysis: South Carolina upset the No.1 team in the land a week ago Saturday, then goes to Kentucky and loses? They haven't won on the road yet so I'm not sure what to think of them just yet.

6 of 25
Showcase game: Nov. 26th at Pitt
Trap game: Oct. 29th at UConn

Analysis: They did show something with just a six point loss to LSU but the rest of their schedule isn't the best I've seen. Three of the next five games will be on the road which could be a turning point to a good or mediocre season.
Where they'll end up: Out of the rankings
No. 19: Texas
7 of 25
Showcase game: Nov. 13th vs Oklahoma State
Trap game: Nov. 6th at Kansas State

No. 16: Nebraska
10 of 25
Showcase game: Oct. 23rd at (17) Oklahoma State
Trap game: Oct. 30th vs (21) Missouri

11 of 25
Showcase game: Nov. 20th at (10) Ohio State
Trap game: Nov. 6th at Indiana

12 of 25
Showcase game: Oct. 23rd vs Nebraska

14 of 25
Showcase game: Nov. 6th vs (15) Arizona
Trap game: Oct. 30th at Washington

Where they'll end up: 13th
No. 11: Missouri
15 of 25
Showcase game: Oct. 23rd vs (1) Oklahoma
Trap game: Nov. 6th at Texas Tech

No. 5: TCU
21 of 25

Trap game: Oct. 23rd vs Air Force
Crucial player: TCU defense
