College Football Predictions for Florida/Alabama and Major Week 5 Games

After a weekend full of great games across the map, Week 5 will not disappoint fans this week with more major matchups in store for fans.

The game of the week will be an offensive showdown as the No. 9 Stanford Cardinal travel up the coast to Eugene to play No. 4 Oregon in a game that could crack the scoreboard.

Stanford QB Andrew Luck and Oregon QB Darron Thomas have been electric with their respective offenses in 2010 as they both collected over 800 yards though the air along with at least 10 touchdowns.

On the other side of the country, Florida is visiting Tuscaloosa this Saturday for a rematch of last year’s SEC Championship game with the Crimson Tide.

Alabama will face not only another conference rival for the second straight Saturday, but another Top 10 team as the Gators come in at No. 7 in the nation.

The Gators offense has started to hit their stride after a 48-14 blowout of Kentucky behind Trey Burton's six touchdowns last Saturday.  

The offense will need to play just as big this Saturday when a young but ever growing Crimson Tide defense will be up to the test after their near shocker from Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Besides those two games, the annual Red River Rivalry game between Texas and Oklahoma along with Big Ten matchups of Wisconsin/Michigan State and Penn State/Iowa will fill out the top five games of this week’s schedule.
